Today the boys (and prego mama) wanted french toast, so rather than regular syrup, I decided to simmer some frozen blueberries on the stove to make some yummy blueberry syrup! I didn't add sugar, so it was a little messy, but when are blueberries not messy?

Splish, Splash... Everett's Taking a Bath
We have such a cute little fish! I couldn't resist sharing these photos with you! Everett loves bathtime!
The Puke Bug Has Hit Our House... again!
At the beginning of my pregnancy, Derrick, Ethan and I were all sick with the stomach flu. It was awful and I hoped we would never go through something like that EVER again.
Well, round #2 is here! Poor Everett is puking! At first I thought he just choked on his applesauce the wrong way, but after the vomiting didn't stop... I knew we were in for another round of the stomach flu!
Watch out! It is not going to be a fun ride!
Because Everett is sick, and so not to spread this illness to anyone else, we will not be attending LIFE Academy (our homeschool co-op) on Friday for the Valentine's Day Party. Ethan is really bummed, so I am going to take him for a short time so he can exchange his homemade Valentines with his friends, but we will not stay or play. He isn't sick right now, but there is no since taking any risks.
Despite the 5-10 minutes before and after he throws up, Everett is actually his normal self, running around, causing trouble and acting like a typical toddler. This also makes it difficult to get him to puke in a bowl... It will be a miracle if I don't get sick!

| At naptime today I sat in his bedroom and watched him as he slept because he was unable to keep anything down. |
| Poor lil'bug is exhausted from this illness. |
