What do we get if we do meet the goal? A night, or weekend out... no kids, just us girls having a great time celebrating our goal, and nice butts too! LOL.
How am I going to do it? Well, I know that I have two huge problems with my fitness routine. ONE - I eat out WAY too much and TWO - I don't exercise enough. I made our family dinner menu this week (healthy choices) and have started to form a habit for the month of July... running at least 2-miles every morning. Lucy gave me this idea. She said that as soon as Ethan wakes up, give him a cup of milk, put him in the jogger and hit the path. Ethan loves it! We ran on Monday and Tuesday and he had a great time, plus, I think it helped him feel refreshed and ready for the day with all the fresh air he got along the way. I felt a lot better too, more awake, energized and I was tired Monday night and got a great night of rest!
Today I took the day off, but I mowed our front yard and the duplex on 90th so I feel like I got somewhat of a workout.
Tomorrow we have a full day planned, but waking early and jogging will fit right in with no problem.
Wish me luck, it takes 21 days to break a habit and 21 days to start a habit... only 15 more days to go!
Check out my morning route:
