Belly Photo of Baby #4, 31 Weeks

31 weeks pregnant with baby boy #4
I keep forgetting to get a belly photo of this pregnancy, so today I asked Everett to help.  He likes pretending to be photographer and did a great job.  Thanks buddy!

This pregnancy hasn't been too bad, but this baby is SERIOUSLY active, kicking, punching, flipping, moving and grooving and definitely will be able to hold his own in this house full of boys once he's out!  He's a bit tough on my gut, sending me into major heartburn, multiple times a day and night, but other than that, things have been good in the baby growing department.  I'm excited to meet him, but have a lot of things to get ready before he arrives.

We still don't have a name picked out, but have a few opinions from the boys, based on our top picks, and Elliot thinks we should name him "Kiwi", especially if he comes out fuzzy (words from little Elliot).  That kid cracks us up!

My biggest problem lately is this Iowa winter.  I'm really getting tired of the cold and am looking forward to outdoors, sunshine and park days out of the house!  I hope it comes soon!

A Beautiful Snowfall

It's Groundhog Day and I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking after the amount of snow we received last night (somewhere around 12 inches), the prediction is 6 more weeks of winter.  BAH!

As much as I don't want this winter to go on, the beauty of the new snowfall against the blue sky and the sunshine is a breath of fresh air.  If the temps weren't so darn cold (it's very close to the negative numbers), I'd be outside snapping photos of the trees, the fresh snow, and the beauty God provides after the storm.

For now, I'll enjoy the view from inside my warm house, soaking in the sunshine as it pours in through the windows and the sparkles of light that filter through the trees.

Stay warm!!
