Potty Training... no more!
Ethan is no longer afraid to go poo on the potty. After a short session of loose stools resulting in multiple trips to the potty, the fear is gone. Today he pooped 4-6 times so he could get a freeze pop each time. He even woke in the night and went potty on his own and returned to bed. What a big boy!!

Gotta love the sandwiches!
When out and about, sometimes we have to stop for a snack... one of our favs is Jimmy John's Sandwiches. They are the only lunchmeat sandwiches our little vegetarian will eat, and they don't make too big of a mess in the back seat! Thanks Jimmy!

Hammer Time!
Today I added a new activity to our shelf. We have been working on number recognition over the last few weeks and Ethan thought this was a lot of fun!
I love it when new activities are so easy to put together, and it is a bonus when they give an extra 10-15 minutes of quiet play. This one is made from a block of packing Styrofoam, Daddy's golf tees and a toy hammer.

Is it time to leave the nest?
We checked on our feathered friends again tonight, and I couldn't believe they were packed in the nest so tight. They have to be about ready to leave the nest, there is no more room left!
Ethan enjoyed looking at them today and was really excited when he got to watch them on the video.
I hope they stay safe... the dogs are starting to dig on the deck to try to get to the nest. Bailey has chewed a few places on the floor of the deck trying to get to them. He would love to have a baby bird snack. :(
