Tonight we surprised the kids with a double feature at our local drive-in movie theater. How To Train Your Dragon 2 and Planes: Fire and Rescue were the two movies showing and were both new movies for us!

| We grabbed some pizza at Casey's on the way to the drive-in and let the kids eat while we waited for the show to start. |
Everyone had a great time eating pizza, popcorn and snuggling up in the back of the van. With the sun setting earlier as the summer draws to a close, we were finished and home (after watching both movies) before 11:30pm! Elliot fell asleep during the last half of the 2nd movie, but the other two didn't sleep until the drive home.
It was a chilly evening, but a great night to be out. It was a great way to wrap up the summer!
