Ethan has a fear of the Christmas tree... if you try to stand him next to it he freaks out and starts to cry. It is not only our Christmas tree at home but other pine trees and other Christmas trees. He is okay looking at them from afar, but upclose if he is not being held, they are scary.
When getting out of the car at the Y the other day there was a large pine tree next to the car, Ethan let out a nervous laugh when he saw it and made sure we were not getting too close. I did the sign for tree and again he let out the nervous laugh.
At least we don't have to worry about him trying to pull off the ornaments or lights... I guess that will be next year.
