Five Families, Fourteen kids, Food, Face Paint and Fireworks = FUN!
We invited a few friends over for a potluck dinner of nachos/walking tacos, and just hang out as families. My friend Amanda had promised her daughter some face painting since they didn't pay to have it done at the art festival, so she brought along her face paints. The kids had a great time and wanted "spy club" themed face painting, but we talked them into picking a weather related item for easier painting. We had some rainbows, tornadoes, a few rain storms and lightening, along with a sunset, car and butterfly for variety. They were cute and Amanda did a great job!
Once it got dark enough, Derrick shot off a few fireworks. Fun evening complete!
