Last night, Derrick's parents joined us in Colorado. This morning we all packed up and headed out on our road trip to Utah, where we will spend the next week together. The kids were so excited to be on the road and couldn't wait to spend a week with Grandma, Grandpa and Great Grandpa!
There was a large Utah sign
at the Utah visitor’s center, so I set my
camera on my camera bag, set the timer, and attempted to get a photo of our
first time in Utah.

We planned on visiting Arches National Park with Derrick's parents before parting ways. After Arches we will go to Mesa Verde National Park, in southern Colorado, and they will travel on to St. George, Utah.
